Sikh Heritage Symphony is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and presenting the authentic tradition of Gurmat Sangeet through Sikh heritage string instruments. Our mission is to bring the spiritual depth and musical richness of Raag-based Shabad Keertan to audiences worldwide while inspiring the next generation to learn, perform, and carry forward this timeless tradition.
Founded in 2016 in the United States, Sikh Heritage Symphony is a performing ensemble and educational initiative dedicated to Gurmat Sangeet. The Symphony presents the Raag tradition of Sri Guru Granth Sahib on Sikh heritage string instruments that were embraced by the Sikh Gurus and the musicians of their courts for the singing of Shabad Keertan. Through performances, education, and outreach at renowned venues and historic Gurdwaras around the world, Sikh Heritage Symphony shares this timeless musical heritage with global audiences.
