Dr. Leena Singh

Dr. Leena Singh is a Gurmat Sangeet scholar, vocalist, composer, lyricist, educator, and founder of Sikh Heritage Symphony. She holds a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Gurmat Sangeet under the guidance of Sangeetacharya Dr. Gurnam Singh. She received training in Rabab from internationally acclaimed maestro Ustad Homayoun Sakhi and in Hindustani classical vocals from Dr. Sisirkana Dhar Chowdhury. She also holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering.

Dedicated to the preservation and global presentation of Gurmat Sangeet, Dr. Singh teaches Gurmat Sangeet and Sikh heritage string instruments while mentoring the next generation of musicians through Sikh Heritage Symphony. Her students have performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Apple Park, Berkeley World Music Festival, and historic Gurdwaras across North America and India.

Dr. Singh has released music albums featuring her own original Punjabi Sufi lyrics as well as her own English poetic lyrics inspired by Gurbani, bringing the spiritual wisdom of Sikh philosophy to audiences around the world through contemporary musical expression rooted in Sikh heritage instruments.

In addition to her performance career, Dr. Singh has prepared English and Punjabi translations of the entire Sri Guru Granth Sahib and continues to share the spiritual and musical heritage of Gurbani through concerts, educational initiatives, research, and recordings for global audiences.

Gurpreet Singh

Gurpreet Singh started his  Music Journey after his high school years because of his passion and interest in Music. He graduated with music vocal and instrumental from Punjabi  University Patiala and post-graduated with Indian Classical  Instrumental from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He is blessed to be a disciple of world-renowned Gurbani sangeetcharya and scholar Dr: Gurnam Singh Ji and instrumental teacher Professional: Amandeep Singh. Gurpreet Singh has taught Gurmat sangeet in various institutions like Fateh academy Amritsar, Guru Angad Dev Academy of Amritsar, etc. Since 2014, he has been teaching Gurmat Gurbani kirtan with Instruments (Tanti Saaj) in Los Angles,  and many parts of the United States.  He has received gold medals as an Indian Classical  Vocalist and Instrumental player in 2007 and silver medals for semi-classical  (Thumri Gayan) in 2009. For the past 14 years, he has been performing Gurmat sangeet in various Gurbani concerts and Raag darbar festivals. He has had the privilege to perform with Dr. Gurnam Singh Ji in India and around the world.

Harshdeep Ji

Harsh has been associated with learning vintage and traditional shabad reets from illustrious Bhai Baldeep Singh and Shiromani Ragi Bhai Kultar Singh. He was involved in teaching traditional Gurbani Sangeet to young kids in the Milford Gurudwara for many years and now he has been associated with Khalsa School at San Jose Gurudwara.

Gurmeher Singh

Gurmehar Singh started receiving Gurmat Sangeet at the age of 7. He started learning Taus and his passion for Raag and Tanti Saaj Vidya took off. He has now been playing Taus for over a decade and has recently developed an interest in learning more about the historical origins of Raags and music theory.
